This Tuesday we are meeting at Hopleys garden centre in Much Hadham at 7:30pm. Don’t worry if you are running late as it will be easy to find us.
We get the full run of the gardens and nursery so there are lots of great photo opportunities and I highly recommend bringing your macro lenses if you have them.
They opened the coffee shop for us last year as well, but I don’t want to make assumptions that they will do the same this year.
On a separate note, if anyone has an iPad 2 and uses CF memory cards in their camera, Andrew has an adapter which can read your pictures onto your tablet for sale – it also does SD and miniSD cards, and USB.
What a fantastic evening we had last week doing outside portraiture at the cricket fields; I’ve never seen so many fantastic pictures from one evening on Facebook and Flickr. The sunset was fabulous for such an evening.
Let’s hope this week is as good. We are meeting in Baroosh at 7:30 and going to walk around Stortford and try some street photography. It’s worth noting that every year we have tried this before it’s been torrential rain, so fingers crossed we will be fine.
This week I’m sending out the info about Tuesday a bit early as I’m in Norfolk this weekend and well, as for phone signal they are in the dark ages! This Tuesday we are meeting by the cricket club on the cricket fields, Cricketfield Lane, Bishop’s Stortford, CM23 2SR at 7:30pm. You should be able to park along the road or in the cricket club car park as long as there is not an event on.
The plan for the evening is outside portraiture and indivisible background techniques, so if you have got an off camera flash please bring it with you and if not, maybe a reflector (even card and tinfoil will work).

See you on Tuesday.
I hope you have all had a great weekend in the sun. Thank you to everyone that helped Andrew at the Stortford Carnival on Saturday.
This Tuesday is Bill’s summer dinner at Great Bardfield. Unfortunately as this is a pre-booked dinner, booking is now closed. Also I cannot make the dinner this year as I have an early start on Wednesday. If anyone is at a loose end tomorrow night, I will be at the Three Horseshoes pub in Spellbrook for a quick bite to eat and a catch up
First off Andrew is desperate for help with the Carnival on Saturday. We’ve got a free pitch and all we need to do is supply some pictures of the day. Anyone that is available to help please contact Andrew (WebMaster)

What a fantastic weekend some of us members have had at the annual Camera Club weekend away, this year in the Isle of Wight.
Within an hour of arriving, the rain had stopped and did not start again until we left this morning. We were so lucky, allowing us to see a beautiful . . . → Read More: After the Island
